I’M BACK! #week1

Ok so it’s been a long time since my last blog post. Apologies for leaving you guys.

Where have you been Manie?

Well I’ve been hiding in the bat cave, lol. Seriously I’ve been out of IM(Internet marketing) however due to my long absence I’ve managed to get my mind set back in check and the desire to return to the online world. So “HERE I AM!” This time I’m here to stay.

However, this time around I want to take my business to the next level. Therefore I have enlisted the help of a mentor. I never achieved the six figure mark in my business and now I have the hunger and ambition to make it happen. Currently right now I’m being mentored by someone that has achieved the six figure mark in their business so it should be a lot easier to achieve since I’m leveraging time and experience.
It only makes sense to get mentoring from someone who has already achieved what I’m aiming to achieve right?

Therefore why not learn from someone else and utilize their failed attempts as to know what I shouldn’t do in order to not attain my goals. If you apply the 80/20 rule here it makes perfect sense that spending more time on the tasks that will result in the 80% of revenue in my business is the way forward. That’s why I hired a mentor so that I can learn what these tasks are. Makes sense right?

For personal and business reasons I wish not to reveal who my mentor is at this moment in time. But I will definitely in the near future. So far in the coaching course we have only received webinar training. For those of you that don’t know. Webinars are another form of delivering content to an audience. It’s similar to have a conference meeting except it’s all online.

It has been three weeks deep into the course. I should have been posting each weeks results here and I intend to. After the webinar training is complete then we will be given access to the meat and potatoes of technical training for creating our businesses.

The first weeks webinar is an introduction to the course and an overview of what we are about to cover over the next couple of webinars. What I found interesting in this weeks webinar is the points made about the difference between marketing and business. What I learnt from the points highlighted was that the reason behind my failure for not reaching six figures had a lot to do with my business skills. Although I understand Internet marketing and how money is made in the business I don’t actually know how to run a business if I’m to be completely honest with you. This is only because i have never actually run a business before. Therefore here I am partnered up with someone who does and willing to learn the skills necessary to move forward.

Another thing I found interesting that has changed my mindset is success engineering. For example if I aim to achieve a target of six figures in my business. Well then hypothetically speaking let’s say I was targeting £100,000. In engineering this figure in reverse would consist of  :

  • Creating a simple product that sells for $30
  • Build a sales process that converts at 5%
  • That means I’ll makes 5 sales for every 100 visitors
  • Now I’ll build a traffic process for 100 visitors per day
  • That means 200 visitors = 10 sales = $300/day = $9000/month

When you think about it like this achieving six figures a year doesn’t seem that far away. Ok but I still need to put something together that I can sell for $30 and do 10 sales a day roughly. As the weeks progress I will continuously update my progress here. So stay tuned in for next weeks report.

As always; please leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts.

About me At secondary school I was so much in love with sports. I played football and was concentrating on a career in the sport. I left with 7 GCSE’s qualifications. I then did two years at sixth form and acquired 2 A-level qualifications. I then went to University but in my second year dropped out. I wasn’t satisfied with the degree and what I was learning from it. So I decided to venture into the REAL WORLD. In 2008 I managed to set up an eBay business. This was doing well until the market became saturated and competition was high. I then began looking for other ways online to make money. Fast forward to 2010 I made my first sale online through affiliate marketing. Since then I have been busy creating my own system, which I’m planning to release soon on Clickbank as an information product in the near future. Manie Amari

    Hey Manie,

I loved how you tore apart becoming a six figure earner. It took me a while to accept I needed a mentor myself to do something similar but now I’m on the same boat as you are.

Things are definitely happening at a faster speed now with a mentor’s help so I know I’ll reach my goals sooner and hopefully you will too so see you at the top man!

    Hi Manie

It says you came back but it looks like you have done the disappearing act again. You need to get back and keep going.
