Your email list is your engine as an online business. It’s important that you grow that in order to move your business forward. Hey there this is Manie Amari with growing your email list with Facebook there are many things you can do. You could do Like campaign ads, you could do sponsored story ads, you could run promoted post ads. With the variations of different kinds of variations you can run these ads. You could place ads that will show up per thousand views. So every time your ad is shown per thousand you will pay a set charge. We all know in order to grow your email list you need a lead magnet and a squeeze page. There are effective ways and ineffective ways to do this. If your targeting non-fans you don’t really want to serve them promoted post ads. This is because they don’t like or trust you just yet. When someone clicks the like button on your page they are telling Facebook they want to see more of your content. A promoted post and page post are the same thing so don’t get confused by the two terms used. With a promoted post a user will see depending were you position it in the newsfeed. A promoted post is just a Facebook post turned into a Facebook ad. It is effective when targeting fans of your page. The newsfeed is where a user sees their friends posts. You gotta be careful when serving promoted posts to non fans. Fans of your page will more likely be inclined to engage with your content. The strategy would be to grow your fan base FIRST and then use promoted post to reach them.
Another cool way to bridge that barrier between like and trust if you were targeting non fans would be to use video. People identify with faces and you can connect better with a visual shot something like this video explaining the features and benefits of your free offer. Why they should sign up and have the link below with your URL. A lot of people on Facebook like to click on videos so if you had a compelling video you could encourage people to opt in using promoted post.
Now there’s another thing that most people miss, which is a lead magnet. Now another thing that I see working really well to turning a fan/non-fan into a subscriber is using Webinars as the lead magnet. Webinars are just awesome lead magnets because the market demands them. People love free training webinars. A free report is great, a free video course is a step better but a free webinar is absolutely spot on. I hope that this video was helpful.
